Join us on a personalised private tour spanning 12 hours, journeying through some of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes as we travel from Inverness to the Isle of Skye.
Follow the shoreline of the legendary Loch Ness to Invermoriston, where you can pause for a moment and perhaps catch a glimpse of the elusive ‘Nessie’. Continue onwards to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, beautifully set on its own island at the head of Loch Duich.
From here, we travel over the Skye Bridge and into the colourful harbour town of Portree, the capital of the island and our stop for lunch. Explore its charming waterfront, framed by cliffs and rolling hills, before we head north to discover Skye’s natural wonders: take in the dramatic coastal landscapes at Kilt Rock, enjoy a short walk to Lealt Falls, and admire the striking pinnacle of the Old Man of Storr.
Afterwards, we continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for our lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbour village, is the capital of Skye, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills. Its beautiful surroundings make it a perfect stop to have lunch and enjoy views of the boats.
Moving on, we visit various points of interest in Skye such as; Kilt Rock for amazing coastal views, take a short walk at Lealt Falls and admire the Old Man of Storr. After spending the afternoon exploring Skye and admiring its stunning scenery we will stop off on the return journey at Strome Viewpoint (April-October) for photos of Loch Carron before continuing homeward bound to Inverness, where your Isle of Skye day tour ends.
